![]() I felt the book did explore the struggle lulu faced of not being arab enough and not being American enough really well if y’all never had dolma, (im weeping for your soul) I suggest you stop reading this review, go grab yourself some and then come back bc we got a long ride ahead of us and there ain’t nothing more comforting than rice stuffed in leaves (I swear it taste better than it sounds) ĝolma™ (stuffed grape leaves) was mentioned a few times and □ □ □ yes its that awkward and a tragedy on its own regard the scene where the main character, lulu had to talk to her relatives on the phoNE WAS !!!SPOT ON!!
